Airsoft Grenades

A specialty item every player would want when playing airsoft games, airsoft grenades deliver a powerful burst of action. Airsoft grenades look and function just like real grenades with the notable exception of killing power. Using an airsoft grenade is simple. You just prime and throw. After a short delay, the airsoft grenade will detonate and toss pellets up to twenty feet at a time.

An airsoft grenade is filled with pellets and powered with a small gas canister. The gas is used up in the single detonation meaning you’ll need to refill or replace the canister after the game is complete if you plan to use the grenade again. The grenade must be reloaded with pellets after each detonation as well.

You can throw an airsoft grenade by hand and never have to even raise your gun to take out an entire enemy team. Most airsoft enthusiasts, however, prefer to use airsoft grenade launchers. These are special attachments on airsoft rifles. The airsoft grenade launcher allows the grenade to travel greater distances with more accuracy than you achieve by throwing the grenade by hand.

When planning to use grenades in a game of airsoft, remember that grenades are heavy to carry and you can only hold a few at a time. The grenades will also be thrown far from you during play and if you plan to use them again, they must be recovered when the game is complete. Recovering airsoft grenades can be a challenge, so be sure you mark the grenades somehow to make them more distinguishable.
